About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Westech Solar. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting new business opportunities, and delivering excellent service. You’ll play a key role in helping our customers find the right solar solutions backed by innovative products and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently to close deals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Clearly explain the benefits of our solar products and services.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the sales journey.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Awareness
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Share customer insights with management to help shape future strategy.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, particularly in the renewables space.
Reporting and Admin
- Keep accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and deals using our CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service for clients.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Previous experience in a sales role (B2B preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident presenting technical information in an accessible way.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Knowledge of the UK solar market and customer base.
- Comfortable using data and sales metrics to drive performance.
