We're looking for a proactive and experienced Internal Recruiter to take the lead on recruitment activity for our team at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.

You will have responsibility for leading a team of 3 internal recruiters and driving improvements to processes, tools and workflows.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 9-day fortnight pattern Monday to Friday one week, Monday to Thursday the next
- Current working hours are 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 - 12:30 on your working Friday
- Starting salary up to £38,000 plus a guaranteed 8.65% monthly bonus (associated with working with the team at HPC)

As our Recruitment Team Lead, you will:
Take ownership of the full recruitment cycle, including:
- Leading a small team of internal recruiters
- Managing vacancies from advert to offer
- Screening and shortlisting candidates
- Scheduling and coordinating assessments and interviews
- Managing stakeholder expectations across operational and central teams
- Supporting and attending assessment centres and job fairs
- Maintaining accurate data and reporting
- Driving improvements to processes, tools & workflows
- Managing our ATS from a superuser perspective
- Fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Contribute to wider projects and initiatives as required
Must-have:
- Strong, hands-on internal recruitment experience, ideally high‑volume, fast‑paced or operational
- People management, team leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to independently manage and prioritise a busy recruitment pipeline
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused
- A proactive, confident approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Experienced in process improvement and creating recruitment toolkits
- ATS superuser experience
- Knowledge of employment law
Nice to have (or willingness to develop):
- CIPD Level 5
- Experience in employee relations
- Background in construction, manufacturing, retail or other blue collar/unionised workplaces
This role is site-based and requires:
- Ability to provide a 3‑year work/education/unemployment history for vetting
- Ability to obtain an HPC site pass
- Willingness to travel via a bus journey of approximately 45‑minute to/from site
