- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates on health status and any changes observed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Use IT systems to document care activities, update schedules, and manage client information securely.
- Support clients with medication reminders or assistance as directed by healthcare professionals.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and with compassion.
- Basic IT literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Valid driving license preferred for home care roles requiring travel between clients’ homes or care facilities.
- Experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential—training will be provided!
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols relevant to caregiving environments.
