Ballycommon are currently recruiting experienced Shuttering Carpenters for ongoing work on the M42 Box Junction project.
We are looking for skilled and reliable Shuttering Carpenters with proven experience across civils, highways, infrastructure or similar major projects. A current BBV induction is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Constructing and installing timber and plywood formwork and shuttering
- Working with beams, walers and associated formwork systems
- Reading and working from construction drawings and specifications
- Setting out, measuring and working accurately to levels
- Ensuring formwork is constructed safely, accurately and to the required standard
- Working as part of a civils/infrastructure site team
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
Requirements
- Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – minimum requirement
- Current BBV induction – essential
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter
- Previous civils, highways, infrastructure or major construction project experience
- Competent with traditional and system formwork
- Able to read drawings and work accurately to levels
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Reliable and able to commit to ongoing work
