About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a valued nursery client seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Trainee Nursery Practitioners. This role is ideal for those passionate about working with children and looking to build a long-term career in early years education.
While no formal childcare qualification is required at the time of application, successful candidates must enrol in a recognised Level 3 Early Years Educator course as part of their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support qualified staff in caring for children aged 0–5 in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Assist in daily routines such as meals, hygiene, play, and rest.
- Engage children through interactive, creative, and educational activities.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and early learning.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, following nursery policies.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Work toward completing your Level 3 childcare qualification alongside practical duties.
Candidate Requirements:
- No childcare qualifications required, but previous informal experience is a plus.
- Commitment to enrolling in and completing the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
- Friendly, caring, and responsible attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS check and references required before starting.
