Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Support the kitchen team in various cooking tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to senior staff.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff as required, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork.
- Contribute to menu development by providing feedback on dishes and suggesting improvements based on customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a passion for cooking is key.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.

- Full training and apprenticeship available if required.
