Bench Joiner – Traditional Joinery

We’re recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner to join an established and growing specialist joinery manufacturer.
This is a proper, traditional bench joinery role, working predominantly on the manufacture of bespoke timber windows, doors and architectural joinery.
The business produces high-quality, made-to-measure joinery, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working from drawings and manufacturing products accurately from start to finish rather than working in a repetitive production environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Manufacturing bespoke timber windows and doors
- Producing traditional architectural joinery from drawings
- Setting out and working accurately to measurements
- Machining and preparing timber components
- Using a range of woodworking machinery, hand and power tools
- Assembly and bench fitting of finished components
- Checking your own work and maintaining high quality standards
- Working closely with the wider workshop team to complete projects on time
What We’re Looking For
We’d like to hear from experienced Bench Joiners, Architectural Joiners or Joiners who have:
- Previous experience manufacturing timber windows and doors
- A strong traditional bench joinery background
- Experience working from technical drawings
- Good woodworking and machining knowledge
- Experience producing bespoke or made-to-measure joinery
- Strong attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
Experience within an architectural joinery, bespoke joinery or specialist window and door manufacturer would be particularly relevant.
