Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastic Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and motivating participants of all ages and skill levels, fostering a safe and encouraging environment to develop their gymnastics abilities. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastic skills, ensuring safety at all times
- Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Organise warm-up and cool-down routines to minimise injury risk
- Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the training area is clean and organised
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages confidence and teamwork among participants
- Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents during sessions
- Collaborate with programme coordinators to develop new classes or workshops based on demand
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying ages and abilities
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to undertake training
- A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to motivate participants and create an enjoyable learning environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times
