North Thames GMS are looking for an exceptional Genomic Associate to join our team, who can provide high level professional guidance and support to patients, clinicians and laboratory staff surrounding Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS).
Responsibilities include managing appointments with patients to obtain consent for Whole Genome Sequencing testing, acting as a point of contact for patient queries around WGS, and supporting correct and efficient documentation and tracking of the WGS paperwork and samples.
You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain effective internal and external contacts. You will have a flexible approach to the working day to meet tight and varying deadlines and service needs and be someone who works well as part of a team.
