Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Head of HR to lead the central HR service across Future Fit Group and its subsidiary businesses.
Reporting directly to a member of the C-Suite, you will take full ownership of the HR function and shape how it supports the Group as it continues to grow and develop.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will ensure that people considerations are built into business decisions and that managers receive the advice, support and challenge they need to lead effectively. You will develop and deliver an HR approach that supports the Group’s priorities while creating a positive working environment where employees feel supported, engaged and valued.
This is an opportunity to take leadership of key function in a an established business and develop it further. You will have the scope to introduce new ideas, strengthen how the service operates, influence decisions across the Group and make a difference to both the organisation and its employees.
The role covers all areas of HR, including workforce planning, organisational design, recruitment, employee relations, performance, learning and development, engagement, culture, reward and organisational change. You will balance longer-term priorities with the practical demands of running a responsive and reliable HR service.
We are looking for someone who brings:
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification in Human Resources/People Management (or equivalent) and substantial generalist HR experience.
- Experience supporting organisational growth, change and transformation.
- Confident to coach, advise and influence managers at every level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across the organisation.
- Strategic thinking combined with a willingness to work through the detail.
- Fresh ideas and desire to own the continued development of the HR function.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and professional judgement.
- Employment law knowledge with the ability to apply legislation pragmatically.
- Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, assessing costs and ensuring that HR activity delivers value for the organisation.
Regular attendance at our Fareham head office is required, with a minimum of two days per week on varying days, as well as travel as required in support of the role.

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
