We are looking for an experienced dog walker, to only walk x1 dog (solo) every Sunday 8-9am in Regents Park NW8 - you must live locally.
6 month contract minimum: July - January 2027
You are required to pick-up the dog from the client’s house (on foot), and to walk the dog for a duration of 1 hour around Regents Park - including off-lead walking and playing fetch.
Being a dog walker is incredibly rewarding, a lot of fun, and certainly not your average job. However it requires dedication, a positive and consistent attitude, alongside having excellent customer service and communication skills.
You should have dog handling experience and excellent problem-solving skills when working with animals. You would be expected to communicate with the owners to build a professional relationship.
You may also help with other occasional walks across the company, including pet sitting requests at our client homes (day/overnight).
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The role would suit an individual who has plenty of free time and enjoys the outdoors, in all weather conditions.
DOG WALKING:
Maximum weekly hours: 1 hour
Days: every Sunday
Pay: £13 per hour/walk
Paid: Monthly via invoice
Payment is solely for completed dog walks.
PET SITTING:
To stay at the client’s house
Paid: £40 a day/night
1-3 hours £13 per hour
+4 £40 per day/night
YOU MUST:
-Be available every Sunday 8-9am
-Be aged over 21
-Be DBS checked
-Be physically fit
-Be self-employed
-Have dog handling experience
-iPhone user with sufficient data (to use our app)
-Non-smoker
-Be confident to walk dogs on/off the lead
-Be experienced with various sized dogs, and have an understanding of dogs and their behaviour
-Enjoy outdoor walks, in all weather conditions
LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:
These will need to be obtained during the trial period. Candidates are responsible for the cost.

TRIAL ASSESSMENT:
Shortlisted candidates will be assigned walks, where you will be assessed on your ability to:
-Independently walk dogs both on and off lead.
-Manage dogs’ behaviour and interactions.
-Wash and clean dogs post-walk.
-Feed and provide care as needed.
-Use GPS tracking and mobile applications for client updates via our app.
Note: Experience solely gained through caring for family, friends, or personal pets will not be considered as professional experience.
