Rainbow Restoration Morecambe is looking for a motivated, organised, and customer-focused Administrator / Claims Handler to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in supporting insurance claims from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient administration throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing insurance claims from first notification through to completion.
· Liaising with customers, insurance companies, loss adjusters, contractors, and suppliers.
· Scheduling appointments and coordinating restoration works.
· Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
· Preparing and processing documentation, reports, and correspondence.
· Handling incoming telephone calls and emails professionally.
· Monitoring claim progress and ensuring service level agreements are met.
· Supporting the wider office team with general administrative duties.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· A professional and empathetic approach to customer service.
· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
· The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience
Previous experience in administration, customer service, insurance, or claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
