Responsibilities
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow to prevent congestion and ensure safety.
- Verify credentials and permissions for all visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel before granting access.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, visitors, and team members using hand signals, radios, or other communication devices.
- Assist with site maintenance tasks related to traffic management equipment or signage as needed.
- Monitor the site for potential hazards or unsafe behaviors, reporting issues promptly to management.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times.
- Keep accurate logs of vehicle movements, visitor entries, and incidents to support operational transparency.
Qualifications
- Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in maintenance or operating traffic control equipment is preferred.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving various types of vehicles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and ensure understanding among diverse groups.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts, maintaining focus on safety at all times.
- Prior experience in traffic management or security roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
