Overview
We are seeking two dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurses to join our wonderful, friendly dental practice. One nurse is required on a Monday, Tuesday & Friday. We also require maternity cover on 2-3 days per week for up to one year. The successful candidates will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting dental procedures, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the clinic. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career within a friendly and supportive environment. We are a private practice, offering Invisalign, whitening and implants, Endo & Perio.
Duties
- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all equipment is sterilised and ready for use
- Providing excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining confidentiality
- Supporting with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and stock management
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dental clinic
- Assisting with patient aftercare instructions and follow-up appointments
Requirements
- Recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse (GDC registered).
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good IT skills for record keeping and utilisation of practice management software
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Knowledge of current health and safety protocols in dental care settings
- Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering outstanding patient service
- Available Monday, Tuesday & Friday. Reception training if desired.
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
