Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver top-tier customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks efficiently and consistently
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and cleanliness standards
- Manage daily operations including inventory checks, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Train new team members on drink preparation techniques, serving procedures, and food safety practices
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and create a positive atmosphere for all guests
- Implement time management strategies to ensure smooth workflow during busy hours while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Proven barista experience with expertise in preparing a variety of coffee drinks and beverages
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and inventory management
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required
