At Ladydale Care Home, we're looking for an experienced and caring Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team on a part-time day shift contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care while supporting and guiding colleagues to provide the very best experience for our residents. You'll play an important role in promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing while helping to create a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading by example and supporting the day-to-day running of the care team
- Providing person-centred care and support to residents
- Assisting with care planning, record keeping and daily documentation
- Supporting and mentoring care staff during shifts
- Promoting residents' independence, dignity and choice
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a senior care or support role
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A good understanding of person-centred care
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support others
- Medication administration experience is desirable
