The Plucky Pheasant is situated on the top of Newlands Corner 10 mins from Guildford) with amazing views over the North Downs, is looking to recruit a SUPERVISOR to its front of house team. Open 7 days a week, days time hours only, this busy, vibrant cafe has built up an excellent reputation for the quality of its food, as well as high standards of customer service. All food is made daily on the premises from high quality, locally sourced ingredients.
The role of supervisor involves all aspects of customer service, ensuring the guest experience is as positive as possible. Reporting to the Manager or Assistant Manager, the role of supervisor will involve leading the team to deliver high standards of care as well as deputising for the Manager/Asst Manager in their absence.
Applicants must have a proven track record of customer service in the hospitality industry, ideally with some existing supervisory experience. The ability to work well under pressure, have a genuinely warm and friendly personality, and common sense are all essential attributes.
There is very limited public transport to Newlands Corner so applicants need to be able to drive a car or motorbike.
NB - The salary range above INCLUDES guaranteed allocation of service charge
