Support Workers – Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and/or Autism
Contract: Full-time, Part-time and Bank roles
Reports to: Registered Manager
Independant Community Support Limited (ICSL) is a Supported Living service that prides itself on providing high-quality, person-centred 24-hour care and support within the community.
You will support the people we work with to lead fulfilling and independent lives, based on their individual needs, preferences, and goals. You will work to both internal standards and external regulatory requirements (including those set by the Care Quality Commission), ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction of the people we support at all times.
You will achieve this by communicating effectively with individuals, following care and support plans, and applying the principles of person-centred care in your daily practice.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Supporting individuals with daily living activities, including personal care where required
· Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion
· Supporting individuals to access the community, activities, and appointments
· Following and implementing support plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
· Working as part of a team to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care
· Maintaining accurate records, including daily notes and incident reports
· Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
· Reporting safeguarding concerns in line with organisational procedures
The role includes domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a homely environment.
You will be required to support individuals with complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge, and must be able to respond in a calm and professional manner.
Qualifications and previous experience are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
We are committed to staff development, and your induction will include training aligned with the Care Certificate, with opportunities to complete QCF/NVQ qualifications up to Level 5.

· Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights, is required
