Dugdale Builders Merchants is looking for a professional, customer-focused Class 2 Driver to join our team.
For more than 30 years we've supplied building materials and plumbing products across the Ribble Valley and surrounding areas. Our reputation has been built on reliability, service and strong relationships with local customers.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys dealing with people and wants to be part of a friendly, established business.
The Role
You'll be delivering building materials and plumbing supplies to trade and domestic customers throughout the Ribble Valley.
The Role Includes:
- Operating 12T tippers and 18T crane wagons
- Delivering safely and efficiently to customer sites and homes
- Loading and unloading materials
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Representing the business professionally at all times
HIAB experience is required but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in people with the right attitude as much as the right qualifications.
- A Class 2 (Category C) licence holder
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Safety-conscious and responsible
- Proud of maintaining high standards in your work
- Experience within builders merchants, timber merchants, construction supplies, plant hire, agriculture or multi-drop delivery would be advantageous, although not essential.
