Lifeguard Position at Rushmoor Royals Swimming Club
We have positions available to work as a lifeguard for our club based out of St Neots School, Eversley.
The priority session we need staffing are:
Monday @ St Neots School - 7:00 to 8:30pm
Wednesday @ St Neots School - 7:00 to 8:30pm
Thursday @ St Neots School - 7:00 to 9:30pm
Overview:
We are seeking a Lifeguard to join our team at Rushmoor Royals, based in the North Hampshire area. This is a casual role and would ideally suit somebody who is looking for weekend/evening or school holiday hours. The successful application must be NPLQ qualified.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool users and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise swimmers to ensure their safety and enforce pool rules
- Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary
- Communicate with pool users in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain a clean and organised pool area
- Perform regular pool inspections to ensure safety compliance
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills to interact with pool users effectively
- Ability to manage compliance with health and safety regulations
- First Aid certification is ideal
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
