Our Offshore Medics support North Sea operations by providing 24‑hour medical cover, emergency response, and occupational health support while working closely with onshore medical teams and client personnel. The HSE Offshore Medic is responsible for the delivery of Remote Medical Services to MCL Medics clients, ensuring that the provision of the advice and treatment given is always of the highest standard.
Main objectives
To act as the focal point for health, occupational health and occupational hygiene matters.
To be capable of exercising appropriate and competent medical skills in the event of an injury or acute illness, providing advice, and consulting with onshore management, as required.
To act as an ambassador and excel.
To always ensure excellent standards.
Minimum qualifications and training:
Registered Nurse with at least 3-years post-graduation experience; HCPC Registered Paramedic; Combat Medical Technician Class 1 (CMT1); Royal Navy Assistant; Royal Air Force medics Assistant; Royal Fleet Auxiliary Services Medical Technician.
HSE approved Offshore Medics certificate.
OEUK medical certificate
BOSIET/FOET (c/w-EBS) certificate
MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) certificate
