Work base: Great Orme Tramway, Llandudno
The historic Great Orme Tramway is looking for a skilled and motivated Tramway Technician to help maintain and operate one of the UK’s most iconic heritage transport systems. This is a rare opportunity to work in a unique environment, supporting safe reliable daily operation for thousands of visitors each year.
What you will do:
- Routine maintenance and inspection of trams, track and cable systems
- Fault finding and repairs
- Assisting with daily operations and responding to technical issues
- Ensure workshop and surrounding areas and all its facilities are maintained, along with compliance with service health and safety standards promoting a safe working environment
About you:
- Mechanical background preferred
- possess a driving licence (minimum standard required Category B manual gear change motor car)
- Experience will rail, tramway cable systems or plant machinery is an advantage
- Comfortable working outdoors
