Title: Construction Manager
Reports to: Head of Construction
Based at: Split between home-based and company offices with UK travel required
Hours: 37.5 per week
Summary of role:
The Construction Manager will manage project delivery of projects by working closely with the Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of projects from acceptance to completion.
The Construction Manager will have responsibility for maintaining & developing the standards of health & safety, quality, and service throughout all work-related activities as well as being responsible for ensuring relevant legislative and industry standards are achieved throughout all work-related activities.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Ensuring full compliance with legislative, industry and business requirements throughout all workrelated activities
2. Leading the on-site work team to complete on-site works safely, and to agreed schedules.
3. Ensuring all works are carried out to required specifications and standards.
4. Management of operative and sub-contractor resources
5. Reviewing and supporting with Programme of Works with the Project manager
6. Have budgetary responsibility for the project.
7. Represent company at project related meetings with customers and third parties.
8. Sourcing materials & equipment on a project by project basis within defined budgetary parameters.
9. Reviewing and ensuring work packs are compliant and reflective of the works required.
10. Take ownership to resolve Health, Safety and Environment, engineering, customer satisfaction & product quality problems.
11. Undertake site and process audits where appropriate to ensure compliance with company SHEQ and external bodies’ standards and procedures.
12. Will be a member of the Management Review Team to ensure compliance with accreditations and continued company development.
13. Maintaining company SHEQ standards, interacting with company systems to ensure continued compliance with legislation and industry standards.
14. Review of Streetworks notices in compliance with current legislation and Communicate with operational staff to identify critical areas of client delivery.

Computer skills
Able to competently administer basic Microsoft Office programs via laptop and tablet.
Literacy and Numeracy
Must be competent at producing clear and concise written communications along with ability to maintain
accuracy when processing data. Able to manipulate and report on basic budgetary data.
Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
