We are looking for a kitchen assistant OR cook for our children's nursery settings.
Our current cook works over both nurseries which works well, but we are open to adjusting this for the right person.
We have 2 small, friendly settings looking for a new team member with a positive and friendly attitude.
Kitchen Assistant:
Hours would be 12pm - 3pm Monday to Friday. Duties would include cleaning kitchen, lunch dishes and preparing afternoon snack. Experience is preferred but training will also be provided. Hours could be slightly adjusted to suit.
OR
Cook:
Hours would be 9.30-3pm Monday to Friday. Duties would include cooking lunch for the nursery children and from our menu, general kitchen duties including cleaning, dishes and preparing afternoon snack. Experience in a cafe/kitchen environment is essential although training would also be given. Hours could be slightly adjusted to suit.
We are looking for this position tonstart at the beginning of August 2026.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable and enjoys working in a busy environment. Someone who is used to being around children and who likes a clean and tidy environment.
