We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing ,Dpf cleaning and mapping and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine work, brake repairs, transmission servicing, and electrical diagnostics.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely while handling parts, engines, or assemblies during repair procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with the work completed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and routine servicing tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large or heavy components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during diagnostics and repairs.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to mechanical work environments and equipment handling.

Pay: From £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
