Overview

Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute project requirements.
- Perform welding tasks to join metal pipes and components securely, adhering to safety standards.
- Use carpentry skills to support structural modifications or adjustments related to piping installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, corrosion, or other issues requiring maintenance or repair.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while following proper ergonomic practices to prevent injury.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting materials or equipment between job sites when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, pipefitting, or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of piping systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes.
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing components, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately.
- Experience with carpentry tasks that support piping installation or structural modifications.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in demanding environments for extended periods.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if necessary.
