The Role: Care Co-Ordinator
Location: Burton
Pay Rate: From £25,000 but can increase depending on experience plus EXCELLENT on call payments. OTE £30,000
A great opportunity has arisen at our Burton Branch to join our Care Co-Ordinating team. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Burton Branch and work in supportive environment.
You will be required to:
· Co-ordinate and manage staff rotas
· Match the right carer with the right client
· Assist the Senior Care Co-ordinator to ensure that all schedules are up to date
· Respond and resolve client queries
· Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure capacity is fulfilled on all schedules
· Have excellent organisation skills
· Be able to work under pressure
· Be proactive to ensure that immediate discharges of clients from hospital are assigned to a carer
· Attend daily MDT’s with commissioners, OT’s, Physio’s & Social Workers as part of the Enablement Programme
· Be part of an on-call team working 1 evening in the week and 1 weekend in 4. This is paid on top of your annual salary and discussed at interview
· Ensure that all working practices are conducted in a manner that is safe to Service Users and Care Staff
You will need:
· Previous experience of working in a community-based setting is advantageous however full training will be given
· Experience of scheduling rotas
· Excellent customer service skills, including over the phone
· The ability to be able to work as a team but also independently using own initiative
· Strong attention to detail
· To be able to adapt to an incredibly face paced environment and work under pressure
· To be IT literate, with the ability to learn new software quickly
