LD Roofing Services are a leading specialist roofing company with a 25-year history, with 3 main divisions with Roofing, Scaffolding and Jet washing. We deal with property developers working on multi-million-pound projects in and around Northamptonshire.
We are looking to recruit a Construction Manager for the Construction Division with proven experience in new build property development. We are looking for someone with a logical approach that can take a project from award to delivery and ultimately handover.
This role will be based in our head office in Wellingborough. We have sites located in Milton Keynes, Bedford, Corby, Northampton, Wellingborough and Coventry, the contracts manager visit each site over the week with a weekly review meeting with the Contracts Director at Head Office.
We have expanded drastically over the last year and in need for someone to come and work with us and join our friendly team. A Company vehicle will be provided.
What will you be doing?
· Assisting office with purchase orders and tile ordering.
· Quality Inspections for new roofs using site pro Audit
· Weekly stock checks
· Managing project completion and obtaining practical completion / handover
· Conformance forms and Health and Safety compliance.
· Liaising with site managers and roofers for smooth completion of works.
· Liaising with drivers to ensure correct materials are on site.
· Communicating with Directors and office with site updates.
Skills
· Background in management/ contract management within construction
· Highly organised and able to multi- task.
· SSSTS or construction management qualification
· Excellent communications skills
· Proven experience within a Construction environment
· Attention to detail / logical approach
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Site Audit Pro
· Excellent time management.
· Commercial head
