Job Description:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming school in Middleton on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning and supporting pupils’ progress across the primary age range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers where required
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Professional, organised, and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
