We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
What You’ll Do:
- Support residents with daily living in line with individual care plans
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned residents
- Supervise and mentor care staff, ensuring care delivery meets high standards
- Administer and manage medications following policy
- Monitor nutrition, hydration, health, safety, and wellbeing of residents
- Act as a key liaison with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Lead and manage shifts in collaboration with the management team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2/3 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience in a dementia care home setting
- Experience in person-centred working
- A proactive, professional attitude with a passion for elderly care
Working Pattern:
- Flexible shifts based on two weeks rota
- Alternate weekend working required
- Occasional on call duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
