Hours: 5 hours per week, dependent on business needs (Can be increased). Work schedule
negotiable, though attendance during training and outreach delivery will be
mandatory.

Responsibilities
● Raise the profile and voice of HUMAN, leveraging online channels, and
developing and implementing strategies for community and employer
engagement.
● Identify grant funding and tendering opportunities and contribute to the development of bids, proposals, and appeals.
● Write persuasive, tailored bids, proposals, and grant applications that
align with the company’s goals and services.
● Ensure all submissions meet funder requirements and are delivered
on time.
● Support the business with the design of projects: this may include consultation
with partners, designing activities, budgeting, creating timelines for delivery
and monitoring & amp; evaluation.
● Assist with month-end financial reports and reconciliations and Post journal
entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
● Keeping up to date records of project activities, analysing data, and producing
● Support the Director with general administration tasks, to include proofreading
content for errors and inconsistencies, and providing transportation when
required.
● Monitoring HUMAN’s email accounts and answering queries on behalf of the
Director.
Essential Skills and Abilities
● Knowledge of self-employment and finance.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including accurate and
comprehensive record keeping.
● Highly proficient across the Microsoft Office suite.
● Ability to work independently, manage own workload, and identify business
priorities, across several concurrent activities. Excellent time management
and organisational skills.
● Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced
environment.
● Ability to produce tangible outputs and outcomes on a weekly basis.
● A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to motivate and inspire
colleagues and clients.
Desirable Skills and Abilities
● Proven experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, with a strong track
record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business
opportunities.
● Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals
effectively and maintain long-term business partnerships.
● Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning,
executing, and monitoring projects to successful completion.
● A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills to address
client needs and concerns.
● Experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use data-driven
insights to inform business decisions and strategies.
