Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled hook loader / Roll on roll off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering excellent service in a timely manner to various locations. This role requires the ability to operate an 32t modern, well maintained hook loader. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Two full time positions are Available - working hours are 6am - 4pm with additional overtime every other Saturday 7am - 1pm if desired
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) preferably with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a RORO driver or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good physical fitness and ability for prolonged periods of driving.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
