The role is to work with Lynx - our subcontract fabrication and engineering department. A high level of technical knowledge and experience within a similar role is required.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Ability to weld to high spec on sheet metal, tubing plate and structural steelwork
- Welded fabrications to be built and welded to customers design and specification
- Carry out works in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide feedback to the office from works carried out
- Understand and comply with all hot w ork controls when undertaking hot work activities
- PPE must be worn correctly
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:
- Work from drawings on fabrication welding
- Experience in MIG welding and fabrication works
- A good work ethic and a desire to produce high quality products
- Managing time effectively
