Location requirement: This is a field-based position covering London, the South East, East of England and parts of the East Midlands. The successful candidate should live within reasonable travelling distance of our Bedford office, PE19 8ER ideally within approximately 60–75 minutes. Regular regional travel and occasional overnight stays will be required.
New Store Trainer

Role Overview:
You'll be a driving force behind our franchise company's growth in store numbers, operational excellence, training initiatives, and adherence to brand standards. You will build and nurture relationships with both franchisees, ensuring exceptional customer service and profitability.
Ultimately, you’re the guru of processes and standards - you will be the person to inspire and energise teams and managers to have stamina, awareness of guests needs, hospitality skills and mindset, and attention to every detail – all while opening a new business. It is a tall order, and requires the best, engaged people
Key Responsibilities:
- New Store Opening Training: Deliver effective group training from recruitment to store opening day, across all cultural and operational standards, to complete team skill training and store opening.
- Training Expert: Assess individual training needs, deliver training content in line with brand standards, and ensure timely completion of core training. Coach managers to ensure they manage the performance of their team legally, and with financial responsibility. Cement the processes required in store for the team to be able to confidently serve great coffee, swift and quality food and great retail skills. Maintaining legal compliance and hygiene is a must, non-negotiable.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, qualifications, and accrediting bodies, and support ongoing company projects.
- Support Excellence: Be the go-to resource for franchisees, managers and teams, acting as the point of contact for all things concerning opening a new store and developing a team to greatness.
- Safety First: Prioritise the health and safety of all staff during your visits.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to franchise agreements, licensing laws, and hygiene and health & safety regulations.

- Opening Orders completed with accuracy and issues resolved

Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent track record of multiple new store openings already under your belt.
- Strong interpersonal and management skills.
- Experience in delivering both individual and group training.
- Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a franchise setup.
- Passion for food and coffee – a genuine interest in our products.
- Competency as a barista and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Practical kitchen skills in abundance for short order preparation and food delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfortable working with data to support decision-making.
- Independent and self-starting, can work under own initiative
- Happy to travel and stay away from home as required
- Full clean driving license.
