Ingham House is a well-established, family run nursing home in the Lower Meads area in Eastbourne. We are looking for a part-time Activities Assistant.
We have a part-time Activities Assistant position available. It is for 8 hours per week, 2 x 4 hour mornings either Monday and Thursday, Thursday and Friday, or Monday and Friday.
Being a team player is an essential part of these roles. You must be someone who enjoys the daily challenges that a busy nursing home has to offer. You will need a DBS check and appropriate references.

You don’t need experience to become an Activities Assistant, just good written and verbal communication and IT skills. A working knowledge of health and safety legislation, and a Level 2 (QCF) Supporting Activities Provision in Social Care is a big advantage, but not essential.
This is a part-time, 2 mornings per week x 4 hours.
Activities Assistant Role to include:
· Supporting the Coordinator in the delivery of a planned activity programme.
· Supporting service users to access the activities with care, kindness and thoughtfulness.

Salary:
Assistant Activities up to £13. per hour dependent on experience and qualifications
