Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. Duties
- Assisting residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Helping to implement and follow personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with medication administration as per care plans (training provided if necessary)
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents or clients
- Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and their families regarding care needs and progress
- Supporting with light domestic duties such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving licence is preferred to support home visits or errands
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the wellbeing of others

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,787.22 per year
