Tempdent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established private orthodontic practice in the West London area seeking a friendly, professional and patient-focused Dental Nurse to join their experienced team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GDC registered Dental Nurse looking to work in a specialist environment where high standards of patient care are prioritised, appointment times are carefully managed, and team members are given the time and support to deliver excellent clinical care.
The Role
You will work closely with clinicians, supporting patient journeys from consultation through to treatment while assisting with a range of orthodontic procedures and day-to-day clinical duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Chairside nursing for orthodontic treatments
- Providing excellent patient care and support
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas
- Following cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
- Taking and processing radiographs where qualified
- Assisting with general clinical duties and patient administration
- Reception and front-of-house support when required
- Diary management and appointment coordination
- Ensuring accurate patient records are maintained
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- GDC Registered Dental Nurse
- Valid UK Right to Work
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional, well-spoken manner
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Orthodontics
- General dentistry
- Radiography
- Patient care within a private dental setting
Both newly qualified and experienced Dental Nurses are encouraged to apply.
