Handyman / Handywoman – Property Maintenance & Renovation
Our office is based in Hexham however properties are mainly across Tyne & Wear, with some work in Carlisle)
Heaney Homes is a small, family-run property company. We take real pride in the quality of our homes and are looking for a reliable, multi-skilled Handyman/Handywoman to join our team.
This is a varied role, covering both the day-to-day maintenance of our high-end HMOs for working professionals, as well as helping to renovate and restore Victorian properties.
The Role
- Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks (basic plumbing, joinery, painting, plaster patching, basic electrics, etc.).
- Maintain high standards across our professional house shares.
- Support renovation projects on period and Victorian properties.
- Work independently, managing jobs from start to finish, and liaise with tenants and our office team.
About You
- Experienced in property maintenance or multi-trades.
- Take pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
- Positive, reliable and solution-focused.
- Must have own van and tools.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Willing to travel across Tyne & Wear, with occasional work in Carlisle.
