Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
We are looking for someone who is caring and compassionate and who can develop relationships and communicate effectively with higher management. The post-holder will be a key member of the team, providing professional and efficient administrative services. You will need to organise, plan and prioritise your own workload, to be responsive to the changing needs of the service, utilising and maintaining electronic and hard-copy office systems to ensure the smooth-running of the service or team.
For this role, you will be overseeing, planning, prioritising, and monitoring workflow for team and self. You will liaise with peers and colleagues in a calm and compassionate manner and work positively and proactively as part of the wider administrative teams.
You will be arranging meetings, preparing agenda, taking minutes and action notes/logs, data inputting and creating spreadsheets, ordering of equipment using a number of platforms, taking telephone enquiries and written correspondence with colleagues.
You will be using SystmOne to record sensitive patient data, undertaking other general administration duties and working in a pressurised environment with constant changes to your workload.
