Job entailment's
- Using Time-management skills to ensure shifts run smoothly as scheduled
- Taking S/U's to appointments/ assisting trips into community
- Handling Medication duties - signing in/ administration/ use of MAR charts/ Medication Audits
- Assisting HCA's with daily documentation
- Assisting in first aid and basic life support
- Take and monitor S/U's observations when required
- Participate and Initiate activities to/ with S/U's
- Learn/ adapt to new situations
- Present and work to high standards under pressure
- See to visitors/ answer phone calls
- Manage EOL care when required and follow clear instructions from management
- Assist physically with eating/drinking for S/U's when required
- Providing full personal care to S/u's when required
- Provide care and support physically and emotionally to S/U's
- Provide support to other HCA's on shift when required
- Support Deputy and Registered Manager when required with tasks delegated to you
- Have very good communication/handover skills
- Reporting to Deputy and Registered manager when appropriate
Training and support can be provided if applicant is unsure in one or two areas of duties
