Studio & Sales Manager
Silo Studios — Kensal Road, W10 5BZ
Part-time · Reports to the Co-Founders
About Silo
Silo is a small, private training studio nestled between Kensal Rise and Notting Hill. With classes capped at eight, our setup is less conventional, and more like a personal training space — just with great music and people who show up for each other.
There are three class concepts on our schedule, each rooted in the combination of reformer Pilates and strength training — and every class is crafted from experience, with genuine attention to our clients’ strengths, limitations and goals.
We have been open for 5 months and need an exceptional studio manager with sales experience to support our growth.
The Role
We’re looking for somebody to take on a hybrid role sitting across studio operations and sales. You'll be the person who makes sure the studio runs perfectly day to day — and the person actively overseeing client acquisition and retention. It suits someone who's as comfortable on a spreadsheet or a sales call as they are on the studio floor talking to members.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth
- Drive new membership sales through proactive management of the sales process, from lead generation to intro offer sales and membership conversions
- Build relationships with local businesses, corporate partners and community organisations to generate new leads
- Run referral and win-back campaigns to support retention and reactivation
- Spot opportunities to refer members into personal training and other studio services as the business develops
Studio Operations
- Oversee day-to-day running of the studio, including class scheduling, bookings and studio workflows
- Manage cover shifts
- Manage stock, retail and supplier relationships
- Continuously tighten up processes and SOPs as the studio grows
- Regular meeting with the co-founders to discuss business performance and objectives
Team & Culture
- Support recruitment, onboarding and scheduling for instructors and front-of-house staff
- Help maintain the studio standards and service culture that make Silo feel the way it does
- Coach and give feedback to team members on guest experience and service delivery
Marketing & Community
- Support social media and content planning in line with Silo's brand and voice
- Help plan and deliver member events and local partnerships
- Ensure every touchpoint — from enquiry to class to check-out — reflects the studio's standards
About You
- You have more than a years' experience in a sales or membership-growth role, ideally within fitness, wellness or a similar service business
- You have some experience with, or strong aptitude for, operational management — budgets, supplier relationships, scheduling, reporting
- You have a commercial mindset
- You are confident managing and coaching people, even informally
- You are highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable owning problems rather than escalating them
- You're an excellent communicator — this role talks to members, instructors, suppliers and the founders in the same week
- You're comfortable with CRM/booking systems and general studio software
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (pro rated from a full time salary of £40-45k, depending on experience)
- Complimentary Silo membership
- Real autonomy in a growing, independent studio — not a corporate structure
- Direct access to and mentorship from the founders
- The chance to shape how this role and the studio grow together
