Due to restructuring we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Administration Support Operative to join our team.
This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, data management, and administrative tasks within our organisation. The successful candidate will support various financial systems and efficient workflow. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting or developing their career within finance and administration.
The hours would be fixed within reason to suit the successfull candidiate.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- posting cash received and help manage customer ledger balances
- posting purchase invoices and match to stock purchase orders and statements
- assist with delivery ticket records, retention and customer questions
- review and managed aged purchase and sales orders
- update stock records and stock balances
- assist with retaining records and reporting to understand daily activity.
- prepare and monitoring deliveries and delivery schedules for the sales orders.
Desirable Personal Specification
- Ability to multi-task, organise, prioritise, and manage time effectively whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and detail.
- Experience in a fast moving trading branch environment.
- Previous experience in an administration and office support role would be an advantage.
- GCSE Maths Level 4 or above.
What we offer:
- This is a part time role where the hours can be flexible to suit the candidate but would be fixed weekly.
- Competitive FTE Salary (pro-rata for hours) depending upon experience, pension, bonus, annual pay review, 22 days holiday FTE (plus Christmas shutdown/bank holidays) with other benefits
Pay: £25,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
