Job Overview
The Bathurst Estate is looking to hire a friendly and reliable accounts processing assistant. The role supports the finance function by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The role is key to maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the operational side of the estate.
The Estate is a fun place to work with a diverse range of activities from residential letting, wedding venue hire and events to farming.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs
- Maintain supplier records and manage queries
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations
- Assist with bank reconciliations and daily cash postings
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles including VAT

Salary & Benefits: salary commenusurate with experience, BUPA healthcare options, life insurance and pension.
Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
