Brief Duties:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the Manufacturing Team, responsible for manufacturing steel fencing and gate components. You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge within the role with a clear emphasis on safety; quality; and productivity.
- Carry out general labouring duties to support manufacturing operations.
- Operation and setting of various machines including power presses, brakes presses, rolling mills and drilling machines.
- Proven work experience of manual work as level of physical work will be required.
- Ability to organise resources, materials and to control material usage to minimize waste.
- Good knowledge and grasp of basic arithmetic.
- Ability to understand basic technical drawings is essential.
- Carrying out routine maintenance.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills Required:
- No formal qualifications required.
- Previous experience in working with power presses and brake press machines or equivalent machinery is desirable.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06.00am -16.30pm.
