Merlin Electro Plating Ltd is a specialist metal finishing company offering a wide range of electroplating and surface treatment services. We are looking for an Electroplater to join our production team. Experienced candidates are preferred, but strong trainees with the right attitude will be considered.
Key Duties:
- Operating electroplating and surface treatment processes including zinc (CR3), zinc/nickel, electroless nickel, anodising, silver, tin, copper, and specialist coatings
- Monitoring and adjusting process parameters (pH, temperature, time, etc.)
- Jigging/de-jigging, masking, inspection, and packing of components
- Solution maintenance and basic laboratory testing
- Safe handling of chemicals and manual handling of jigs
- Maintaining clean, safe work areas and accurate process records
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and strong attention to detail
- Practical, hands-on skills and good manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 25 litres and work safely with chemicals
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexible approach to shifts
