Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 2 pupils in accordance with the national curriculum and the school's educational principles.
- Implement and maintain consistent behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and create a safe, respectful classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor individual pupil progress, providing tailored support to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop curriculum activities that reflect the school's ethos of inclusion, creativity, and holistic development.
- Support the emotional and social development of pupils, fostering a sense of community and mutual respect.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and behaviour, contributing to the school's reporting and assessment processes.
- Uphold the school's commitment to inclusion by adapting teaching approaches to support all learners, including those with additional needs.
- Promote the school's values in all interactions and contribute to a welcoming, caring, and stimulating school atmosphere.
