We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Buyer / Administrator to join our growing team. Alongside completing a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, you will receive hands-on training and experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Assisting with purchasing materials and obtaining supplier quotations.
- Liaising with suppliers to place orders and track deliveries.
- Requesting and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Managing order fulfilment from enquiry through to delivery.
- General office administration, including filing, data entry and answering telephone calls.
To be considered for the role;
- Have excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Be organised with good attention to detail.
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Be eager to learn and develop within the construction industry.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and manage your own workload.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The position with be Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
