Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multitrader to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across various trades. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the successful delivery of construction and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, door hanging, and cabinetry installation with precision and attention to detail
- Perform roofing repairs and installations, ensuring durability and weather resistance
- Carry out construction painting to enhance finishes and protect surfaces
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication and structural repairs with safety and accuracy
- Handle electrical tasks including wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various trades-related tasks
- Fabricate custom components or modifications as needed for specific projects
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working on-site or in confined spaces
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Multitrader or in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance work
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in diverse environments for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Relevant certifications or licenses in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, welding or electrical work are preferred but not mandatory
- A commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in various trades
