Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a confident presence, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Prior experience in security or surveillance is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Manage crowd control during events or busy periods with professionalism and tact
- Implement loss prevention strategies by recognising suspicious behaviour and acting accordingly
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor numbers, and any security concerns
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and company standards
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors courteously and professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in security is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- First aid certification is mandatory; additional training can be offered for suitable candidates
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and confidently
- Ability to remain organised under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour
Pay: £15.00 per hour
