Overview
Kent Foods Ltd (The Albex Group) are a leading distributor of food ingredients to U.K. and European food manufacturers. We are seeking to recruit a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller/Administrator to oversee inventory management and optimise supply chain processes, within a small team based at our Avonmouth, Bristol depot. This role involves maintaining accurate stock records, analysing data to improve operational efficiency, and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Some administrative, sales and customer service duties will also be required within the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and maintain customer product availability for our Bristol depot
- Manage product shelf life
- Investigating stock discrepancies
- Reacting to seasonal variations and supply problems to minimise out of stock lines
- Engaging with warehouse, logistics and internal sales teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure customers receive shipments on time
- Communicating with customers
- Assisting sales teams in dealing with customer enquiries

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
